The creative representation we made is a collage with the chart and keywords in our pervious sentiment and content analysis. The sea below the collage is the sentiment and emotional response change over time from 2020 to 2022. All the positive, neutral, and negative response is increase which means there are more responses on the social media about work from home. The mask of the women is made by the world cloud of the keywords we collected from the media post. There is ‘work’, ‘childcare’, ‘pandemic’ and so on which means what women face in their real life. And the sea of data is filling in the whole collage which means we are drowning in the data nowadays.

Summary

According to the questionnaire data, during the lockdown period in China, the new office mode of telecommuting made the boundary between work and life blurred. Influenced by traditional concepts, compared with men, women undertook more housework and took care of the elderly and children at home, so much more women believed that telecommuting affected their work efficiency.

According to Social media content analysis, There are many keywords related to ‘Housework’,'Child’,'Work’during the pandemic. which demonstrates that housework did affect the efficiency of working.
